Gabrielle – Senior Portraits

I actually met Gabrielle through Sakura-Con — an anime convention — to which I had taken my camera to document all the wonderful costumes and characters. She spotted my photo of her on Flickr, we struck up a conversation, and I offered to shoot senior-portrait-style photos of her as a way to help build my portfolio.

We ended up shooting outdoors at a wildlife preserve, using mostly natural light, but in a few instances, when the sun was too harsh, I used a remote fill-flash to fill in the shadows a bit.

One cool note about Gabrielle, is that she has heterochromatic eyes.
